FactoryTalk Activation Manager Not Viewing Activations over VPN/Remote Connection
When using FactoryTalk Activation Manager from remote office connected with VPN Tunnels you will not able to see the “Activations” in the “Available Activations” list.
In the FactoryTalk Activation Manager, add an IP Address in the Path to Activations.
1. Run FactoryTalk Activation Manager.
2. Go to Available Activations tab –> Update Activation Search Path.
3. Select Add Server.
4. Add @RemoteServerIPAddress
5. Select Save.
You may need to click refresh Activation, (The refreshing of
the Activations should take a little longer to respond as the Timeout interval has been increased) Soon you will be able to see activations in “Available Activation” Area
